How the 2018 compares with nearby years

Against the 2017 Trax: The wiper blade lengths, oil filter and cabin air filter are the same in both manuals.

Against the 2019 Trax: the oil filter changed (PF2257G/PF2263G+PF64 in 2019 vs PF2257G in 2018). The wiper blade lengths and cabin air filter are the same in both manuals.

The 2018 Trax belongs to the 1st gen, which began with the 2015 model year (MY2017 refresh: halogen projector headlights, LED DRLs, new grille); generation dates. Parts often carry over within a generation, but the manual for your exact model year is the one to trust.

What the manual does not print

The 2018 Chevrolet Trax owner's manual does not list bulbs, battery and oil sizes; for the battery, read the label on the battery fitted to the car, then check the size against the BCI group chart; many lamps on this model are LED assemblies that are replaced as a unit by a dealer.

Buying the parts for a 2018 Trax

Wipers: ask for a 26-inch driver blade and a 15-inch passenger blade, plus a 11-inch rear blade. The manual's 650 mm is 25.6 inches exactly; blade boxes round to the 25 mm trade step. Check that the new blade's connector matches the arm on the Trax.
Filters: the part numbers above are the maker's own brands; aftermarket boxes list cross-references to them, so quote the number (oil filter PF2257G) when you shop.
