How the 2021 compares with nearby years
Against the 2020 Transit: The low-beam bulb, high-beam bulb, oil filter and cabin air filter are the same in both manuals.
Against the 2022 Transit: The low-beam bulb, high-beam bulb, oil filter and cabin air filter are the same in both manuals.
The D5S low-beam bulb appears in every Transit manual from 2020 to 2024 that this site has read (4 model years).
The 2021 Transit belongs to the Full-size Transit (V363), which began with the 2015 model year (MY2020 revision: revised front fascia, 10-speed, AWD option); generation dates. Parts often carry over within a generation, but the manual for your exact model year is the one to trust.

What the manual does not print
This manual prints all five part types this site tracks, which is unusual: most makers leave out at least one.
4 positions are listed as LED in this manual. LED lamps have no separate replacement bulb; the lamp assembly is replaced.
Buying the parts for a 2021 Transit
- Wipers: Ford lists blades by part number (WW-2955, WW-2901, WW-2112) rather than length; a parts counter can look the number up, or measure the old blade.
- Headlight bulbs: the D5S low beam and the D5S high beam are halogen capsules on trims that have them; buy them in pairs so both sides match in colour and output.
- Small bulbs: this manual names 17 replaceable bulb positions. Wedge bulbs such as W5W and 194 differ from twist-socket bulbs such as 7443 or 3157, so match the full number, including suffixes like NA (amber).
- Battery: the manual prints BXT-48H6-610, which is BCI group 48. Match the cold cranking amps on the old label or higher, and keep the terminals on the same sides.
- Filters: the part numbers above are the maker's own brands; aftermarket boxes list cross-references to them, so quote the number (oil filter FL-500S) when you shop.
- Oil: 5W-20 WSS-M2C960-A1, 6 US quarts with the filter. Use the grade printed for your engine if the manual lists more than one.

Trim, engine and lighting package change some of these parts, so match the row that names your engine or trim. The facts on this page come from 5 pages of the manual (357, 358, 362, 372, 373). Before you buy, compare the number printed on the old part with the table above. See how this site reads manuals.
